VT Transaction+ is very easy to use and can be used by accountants and non-accountants alike. However, users without accounting knowledge will probably need help from their accountant with the following matters:
•Setting up opening balances, especially the opening VAT position (see Opening balances)
•Deciding on whether to maintain customer and supplier ledgers (see Creating customers and suppliers) or enter cash directly to income and expenditure accounts
•Accruals and prepayments (see Journals)
•Checking that VAT has been correctly entered before submitting a VAT return (see Value Added Tax)
•Multi-currency accounting (see Multi-currency accounting)
